The Art of Erosion, Achnahaird |
Black & White p2 |
|
A long exposure in low-light stormy conditions over Achnahaird Bay. The geology of the northern coast of the Inverpollaidh / Coigach peninsular is predominantly soft Torridonian sandstone, and the constant erosion by storm-driven tides has created a number of dramatic craggy inlets by the beach at Achnahaird.
